Flood my bruised heart
Cleanse my mind
The Great Exhale
That was in a holding pattern
Breathes
New Life
Survival
Progress
Tenderness
Into me
The swelling and pain
Blue-black wound
Healing
Changing
Into a flesh tone
Of normal
Again
