“The art of losing isn’t hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent
to be lost that their loss is no disaster”

“But who shall dare
To measure loss and gain in this wise?
Defeat may be victory in disguise;
The lowest ebb is the turn of the tide.”

Thank you for the opportunity

To feel the loss

To remember the acuity

Of the pain across

And within myself

And how it has felt

Heart pushed off of the shelf

Left with a bruise and a welt

All lost things

Are a gain to someone

What it brings

:When the pain is done:

Clarity

And charity
