Love is a labor
Amid the strains and spasms
Is found a life to savor
The quiet power
That is given to bloom
In a woman’s hour
The time is spent
Carrying and tending
to Hope, and to a greater extent
Compassion
It is no easy task
Love is an action
Not a word
Not a picture
But something transferred
From one being to another
Her Story embracing
The child and the mother
