Time
by Carmen H Gray
A ghostly and constant companion
Walks with me down the thorny paths
Through the bend in the cool river
Atop the snow-capped mountain
In the evergreens, along the babbling brook
In the star-studded velvet skies in the deep of night
Beyond the pale, violet clouds at dawn
She holds fast to my whole being
She breathes in unison with my breath
Only to release me here when my days are done
She is the past, the present and the future
Mingled into one glorious existence
One response to “Time”
What a wonderful poem that expresses so much of who and where you are. Much Love dear Daughter.
